Check out our AMAZING creations made by some Pod 4 children by watching the slide show below. We focussed on reusing old garments and fabric to make something new. We had heaps of fun learning how to hand sew, thread needles, use a sewing machine and perservere to make our end products.

We produce alot of rubbish each day by buying things and then throwing them away when we don't need them anymore. Our rubbish goes into a landfill, which is a big hole dug in the ground. Landfills can me smelly, dirty and cause environmental problems.

We need to reduce, reuse and recycle the things we buy so less rubbish is going into our landfills.

SORT IT is a great game to teach you about where you should put your rubbish.
